[jira] Commented: (ETCH-4) Map http://cwiki.apache.org/ETCH to
http://incubator.apache.org/etch

Gavin commented on ETCH-4:
--------------------------
Currently, you have incubator.apache.org/etch/ redirecting to the exported cwiki pages at cwiki.apache.org/ETCH.
The workflow of what should happen is this:
1. content is created edited at http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/ETCH/Home
2. The editable wiki in step 1 then gets autoexported to http://cwiki.apache.org/ETCH
>From here is where its gone wrong. Instead of redirecting back to the exported wiki, you should be copying over the contents of the exported wiki to the main incubator.apache.org/etch/ website space. So ...
3. Create a cronjob on people.apache.org to rsync -r /www/confluence-exports/ETCH/ /www/incubator.apache.org/etch/
For step 3 which is the only missing piece, take a look at http://cwiki.apache.org/CWIKI/ and scroll down to 'Can we use the autoexport site as part of our main web site? '
I can set this up for you if needed, otherwise, any committer can set this up using their own crontab.

> Web page is up, but I think it is the 'wrong' location. I think we need to point 'http://incubator.apache.org/etch' to 'http://cwiki.apache.org/ETCH'. Similar to how perhaps Apache Tuscany is rendered.
