Could somebody please comment this bug? It was opened two weeks ago ...

I think, code should be changed to:

        try {
            stop();
        } catch (LifecycleException e) {
            log.error(sm.getString("standardContext.stoppingContext"), e);
        } catch (IllegalStateException illegalStateException) {
        }
