[jira] [Commented] (BIGTOP-2389) Adding Apache Arrow to the Bigtop project

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/BIGTOP-2389?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=15239415#comment-15239415 ]

Konstantin Boudnik commented on BIGTOP-2389:
--------------------------------------------

Arrow yet to have a single release. And even when it comes out we don't know how useful it will be; or would it deliver to its already hyped up expectations. Perhaps we should wait a little bit and not pile up [every shiny pebble|https://blog.codinghorror.com/the-magpie-developer/] into the stack?
