Tomcat Crashing

Hi People,

Error: SIGSEV 11* segmentation violation
Environment: Linux Redhat6.2, Tomcat 3.1, Apache 1.3.12, jdk 1.2.2, servlets
connecting to a mysql database using the mm.mysql driver

I am sure something else in my environment is causing this problem, but I
can't think of where to look.

I used to run about 25 servlets/jsp's that did i/o from a mysql database.
Those servlets got hit about about 60,000 times. No problem. But I now
scaled back to using about 4 servlets/jsp's because the other project ended.

Now I find my servlets just randomly stop working (the browser will spin and
spin with no response after a servlet or jsp is called). I will shutdown
tomcat and apache....go to restart tomcat and get:

If I shutdown Tomcat and Apache again, I *might* get (the errors
intermittently alternate):

I looked in the tomcat logs, but don't see anything that would really tell
me what is going on. Has anyone run into this, or does anyone have thoughts
of the cause? I have another machine with nearly the same install of all
components (tomcat,apache,redhat6.1,mysql,jdk1.2.2) and I do not get this
error...it's as solid as ever.

Thanks for anyone's suggestions of what these errors mean...
