   Hi @Tartarus0zm @x-tong @cxzl25 @weiqingy, thanks for driving this. I went through the current Flink integration code and noticed the three phases above (Calc/Agg/Join) all target streaming. `DefaultPlannerFactory` still routes `BATCH` mode to Flink BatchPlanner which is unmodified. 
   Is Flink batch support intentionally out of scope here, or just not prioritized yet? A couple of things I can suggest which could be  reasonably scoped in another track: 
   - shared `CommonExecCalc` base between batch/stream in Flink itself
   - native proto ops that already look engine-agnostic. 
   
   Happy to start small with a `BatchExecCalc` shadow PR if there is interest.
