[PR] Allow mapping custom types to encoding functions [cassandra-python-driver]
antbbn opened a new pull request, #1307:
URL: https://github.com/apache/cassandra-python-driver/pull/1307
Using isinstance instead of a mapping based on `type(value)` allows the usage of custom types that extend known types in query templates (eg. pendulum timestamps extend datetime.datetime).
Using a list of tuples ensures deterministic evaluation handling for special cases like ValueSequence.
