IllegalAnnotationsException Trying to Expose Web Service in Camel
and CFX
I'm having problems exposing web services to implement the PixPdq interface
spec (in the attached wsdl files). PDQSupplier.wsdl

I'm using Camel v:2.10.2 and deploying on Glassfish 3.1.2, JDK 1.6.0_37.
The VERY ODD thing is that when deployed on Windows OS, everything works
PERFECTLY. However, when deployed on Umbutu, this problem happens.
my endpoint looks like this:
I'm getting the following exception:
Everything I can find talks about using JaxB 2.1, which I already am.
I am completely stuck - I've tried everything I can think of.
Does anyone know a possible solution or how I can figure this out?

very interesting. I'm reading through the article and am going to change to
the version downloaded from the site referenced now to see if that solves
it. In the mean time, here are the versions, etc:
CXF: 2.7.0
JAXB inside deployment WAR (WEB-INF/lib/):
Build machine (WINDOWS 7):
Deployment machine running Glassfish (Umbutu 12.10 - 64bit):

Which version of CXF are you using?
I just googled a while, and found an interesting entry[1]
Did you use Open JDK in your Ubuntu?

thanks for the quick reply. yes, source code is built using Maven and
wsdl2java, on Windows and the war file is deployed to Unix.
I've double checked all the class, xsd, and wsdl file names contained within
the WAR and they all look correct (case wise, etc.).
I've also tried compiling on a Unix machine - same issues.
I do agree, it must be something like that!!!

Hi,
From the stack trace I can tell JAXB has some trouble to find the ObjectFactory files.
Did you use wsdl2java to generated the SEI in windows and then copy the files to Umbutu?
In windows file system, the file name is not case sensitive, but in Unix/Linux the file name is case sensitive.
I think you need to check if the ObjectFactory.java files are rightly to be load in your Umbutu.

SOLVED!!!
it was the difference in the generated Java code from the XSD's when using
wsdl2java from CXF.
I added the flag to the wsdl2java task and created a seperate JAR project
for all the XSD generated code. In this new project, I use the
jaxb2-maven-plugin plugin with extension set to true.
The wsdl2java generated code was missing key entries in the generated
ObjectFactory.java. The jaxb2 pluging generated the code correctly.
Thank you for all the pointers, etc. that helped track down this problem!!!

still no joy... I switched all the jaxb references, but it still shows the
same issue.
I also went through all the WSDL and XSD files validating the
case-sensitivity -- all are consistent on both windows and unix.
other ideas?
