XHTML filter extensions

Hello,

Recently and as part of my doctoral research project, I have extended
the OpenOffice
XHTML export filter by fixing numerous bugs and adding new features, such
as adding the possibility to export images and shapes (line, circle,..)
into traditional Web pages.

In addition, I added the possibility to export images and text using a
scaling parameter and quality factor (for JPEG images). In the future,
these extensions can help people using OpenOffice documents via their
web-enabled mobile devices (by mean of Web browsers).

Now, I need you help to incorporate these extensions into OpenOffice and
give the community a better experience with the XHTML filter. Actually, I
don't khow what the process is. Thanks!

Hi Habib,

that sounds good! I would suggest that you create an issue for this and describe on detail what you have done. Attach the patches to the issue and I will take to integrate the patches for you.

I hope you are interested to do more for AOO in the future. And if you need help please let us know. We are always interested to help interested volunteers.
