[jira] [Commented] (STANBOL-828) Support static resources in META-INF/resources

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STANBOL-828?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13532283#comment-13532283 ]

Reto Bachmann-Gmür commented on STANBOL-828:
--------------------------------------------

[~rwesten] Thanks for taking care of (1). Regarding 2: This issue also adresses STANBOL-769 and it is completely up the the component which URI-path it chooses for "static" resources and a resource can be changed from file-based to jax-rs based and vice versa without the client noticing (cool uri), so the undocument STATIC_RESOURCES_URL_ROOT "feature" is deprecated.

As for CORS: you're right that no header is added. We discussed once how this is best implemented, was there a reason not to have this as a filter so that individual mosuled need not to care about? Is the a service by which the modules can look up the requested cors configuration? (having to look up the configuration of jersey seems highly unportable)
