Xalan-J release 2.7.1

We've all been busy; but I'm finally going to make time and push 2.7.1 out
the door.

What needs to be done is some legal cleanup on the location of NOTICE files
and the like, re-testing and then the approval of the Xalan PMC.

If there are open defects that are not fixed in the latest code base and
you think should go into 2.7.1 now is the time to speak up (send mail to
xalan-dev@xml.apache.org). JIRA issues with patches would have a much
better chance of making it into the release.

Re: Xalan-J release 2.7.1

Posted by Michael Glavassevich <mr...@ca.ibm.com>.
Just a reminder the serializer.jar from 2.7.1 already went out in Xerces
2.9.0 which was released just prior to the day Xalan 2.7.1 was planned for
last year.

Thanks.
