[Bug 5714] New: spamd only allow spamc as client
http://issues.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=5714
Summary: spamd only allow spamc as client
Product: Spamassassin
Version: 3.2.3
Platform: All
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: trivial
Priority: P5
Component: spamc/spamd
AssignedTo: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
ReportedBy: formorer@formorer.de
Whilst creating a nagios check for spamd I detected that the version string as
specified in PROTOCOL don't works as expected. After a short look into the code
I saw that SPAMC\/(.*) is hardcoded as a client version. I think is wrong and
should be fixed to support clients with a different version string. A patch
should be trivial and I can obtain one if needed.
Thanks
Alex
