1. Are you using 1.4.1 or 1.5Alpha?  
2. Is the problem you state concerned with the output when Ant is run in
   -verbose mode?
If you are using 1.5Alpha, try a more recent build, as it has been recently 
fixed.  Otherwise, please provide relevant portions of your build file, the 
output that you get, etc. to illustrate the problem better.  I, for one, haven't
been able to comprehend your exact problem.
