Releasing 9.0.0-M1 and the other minors
Hi,
with Wicket-6563 being solved, I think it might be the right time to
release the first milestone of Wicket 9. There are also a decent number
of solved issues for Wicket 8. Shall we release 9 M1 along with 8.4.0
and 7.13.0?
I also have another question: who has the right on Jira to create new
versions (for example 9.0.0-M1)?

+1 to release, but I would mention in the release notes that the m1 version should be used to test the new page store implementation.

I would rename 9.0.0 to 9.0.0-M1 and would create 9.0.0-M2 :)
but it's up to you :)

I guess for 9.0.0-M1 I have to create this version first and then merge
the existing 9.0.0 into it, right?

You have Admin rights in JIRA. You should be able to create new versions.
Maybe you just do not know how to do it ?
