   A point for discussion: if we were to use inline annotations a big downside would be the big diff and broken blames. However this can perhaps be mitigated by using a [.git-blame-ignore-revs](https://graphite.dev/guides/git-blame-ignore-revs) file which by convention holds hashes of commits to be ignored when constructing blame.
