[jira] [Created] (NIFI-9223) ListenSyslog cannot listen on 0.0.0.0

Benjamin Charron created NIFI-9223:
--------------------------------------

Summary: ListenSyslog cannot listen on 0.0.0.0
                 Key: NIFI-9223
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-9223
             Project: Apache NiFi
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Extensions
    Affects Versions: 1.13.2, 1.14.0
            Reporter: Benjamin Charron

As of 1.13.2, ListenSyslog now defaults to listening on 127.0.0.1. It previously listened on 0.0.0.0.

It is no longer possible to listen on 0.0.0.0 because the processor only supports specifying a network interface, via "Local Network Interface", rather than a network address.

I think the default should be reverted to 0.0.0.0, as it caught us off-guard during upgrade:
