elements

Hi Folks,
Is there a way to get a whole element with all its present childs to a 
resulting xml

eg

<A>
<B> </B>
<C> </C>
<D>
<E> </E>
</D>
<A>


in the resulting xml after processing i must get
<D>
<E> </E>
</D>

as it is

is this possible
any help is appriciated....
