Previous entries - Next entries?

Thanks for fixing the macro #showNextPreviousLinks() which
now allows to navigate weblog entries back and forth, but
only by viewing one entry at the time.

However, when displaying a weblog (e.g. /roller/page/user)
which shows the last N entries, I can't find a way to go
to the previous/next N entries.  Is there a macro for that?

As it is, the navigation to previous/next entries is kind of broken.
Navigating through the calendar is not very convenient if you just
want to read the previous N entries, as you have to check the dates,
scroll up/down, and go back/forward on the calendar to the given date.
If you just go to previous/next month, you might miss entries if there
are more than N entries in a month.
