[jira] Created: (COUCHDB-24) Loading multiple IDs from the database in a single call

Loading multiple IDs from the database in a single call
-------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: COUCHDB-24
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-24
             Project: CouchDB
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Noah Slater
            Priority: Minor

Hi
It would be great if it was possible to load several IDs from the database using a single call.
Currently it is only possible to load one key at a time or a range og keys, but in many cases I find
that it is needed to load several keys, that are not in sequence, at once.

Please view this discussion thread for more information if you want.

Thanks for a great DB and keep up the good work!

Best regards
Sebastian

Michael Hendricks commented on COUCHDB-24:

A note so that this doesn't get lost: Chris Anderson proposed a patch in COUCHDB-98 that implements this request.
