Not an AOO bug but a Mac OS system font issue.

Hi, unfortunately the problem came back. This time after I cleaned the cache
using font finagler, nothing changed.

Amy,

What Hardware and Operating System are you using, and were there any software
updates, additions, or configuration changes since it was working last?

My OS is Yosemite version 10.10.5

Here's my computer's info:
MacBook Pro
2.8 GHz Intel Core i7
16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

As far as I can tell it was kind of random. There weren't any changes as far as
updates go before it stopped working, although I did make OS updates after to
see if that would help and it didn't. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the
latest version of the program, and when that didn't work, I tried an earlier
version and am still experiencing the same issues.

Another weird thing that's happening is when I open a text document all the
text throughout the doc jumbles together on the first line.

Amy please confirm whether this resolves the issue for you, in case we were
premature about this.

If you confirm, we can change this to fixed.

There is probably someplace we should collect these kinds of tips and
workarounds so that users can look for them. All suggestions are welcome.

OK, this should not be treated as resolved in this case. The use of "fixed"
usually indicates that there was something that was done at this end to make a
change somewhere.

Also, we need more confirmation or something that makes a clear resolution.

There is a second tip at the end of the Community Forum thread about what may
be the OS X cause here.

Amy, have you tried that? Do you need advice on how to perform a terminal
command?

Although related to font configurations, this impacts our users and we can view
this as a fix.
