[ANNOUNCE] Welcome Lewis John McGibbney to Gora PPMC and as Committer

Hi Folks,

A while back I nominated Lewis John McGibbney as a Gora PPMC member and committer.
The word is back from the PPMC and PMC and Lewis has accepted and has become
part of the team. Welcome Lewis!

Feel free to say a bit about yourself.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Everyone,

Thanks again Chris for passing on this news for me. My interest from Gora
stems from my initial use of Apache Nutch 2.0 (nutchgora) which, as some of
you may know, relies heavily on Gora. I am firmly of the opinion that for
Gora to become a succesful top level Apache project we need to have a wide
number use cases and from what I can see, people seem to be taking more
interest in what is an exciting podling with a great deal of potential
moving forward.

I would like to formally say a big hi to all of the Gora community, I look
forward to working on future incubating releases before we have grown the
community (and project) enough to graduate.

Thank you very much, and I look forward to meeting in person anyone
attending ApacheCon NA in November.

Welcome Lewis,

As it is customary in many other Apache projects, the first commit you
should do is to add your name to the credits page[1]. To do that you have to
checkout the site documentation, which resides in [2]. Then, you run ant
docs, which should compile the docs, then commit the changes. The last step
is to log in to people.apache.org and cd /www/incubator.apache.org/gora and
do an svn up.

Thanks and have fun hacking Gora!
