[jira] [Created] (GUACAMOLE-2247) "Folder"-transfer support for "File" transfer

Lee Doughty created GUACAMOLE-2247:
--------------------------------------

Summary: "Folder"-transfer support for "File" transfer
                 Key: GUACAMOLE-2247
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-2247
             Project: Guacamole
          Issue Type: New Feature
            Reporter: Lee Doughty

Feature request from some of our end-users for consideration:

*Description*

We had a user request the ability to "Drag a folder" into the session window and trigger the normal upload process, preserving the given folder and structure post-upload.

*Problem Space*

The current process to "upload" folder structure requires the user to tarball/zip/similar the files on the host, then transfer that, then extract. This certainly is beneficial for large transfers, but cumbersome and requires more experienced end users.

{*}Currently (if attempted){*}:

1) Generate an error
{quote}An internal error has occurred within the Guacamole server, and the connection has been terminated. If the problem persists, please notify your system administrator, or check your system logs.
{quote}
2) Creates a 0-byte file named after the given folder

{*}Desired behavior{*}:

1) Creates folder

2) Uploads contents of folder, including any sub-folders
