Is it possible to get a user's previous activities posted from app?

Hi

I was wondering if it was possible to get a user's previous activities
posted from my app and delete them?

I created a news app for Orkut and the max activities that an app can post
per user per day is 3 (on orkut). My app allows users to share links to news
items. Once the limit is exceeded I would like to delete the previous
activities from my app and create a new one by combining the previous ones,
so that the count would be reduced by grouping.

Is it possible? Any workaround?

So I it would be nice it the next version has an activity.update() thing so
that apps can update the activity.. which is like previous activity + new
activity. So that the app can't delete previous actions.

Altering public record and what's on people's pages usually isn't the
bestest of idea's, so i suspect they allow you to create one activity,
which then can't be removed or changed any more.

hmmm, not sure about the internals, but the final result is just ONE
activity with the new data.

And nope - they are part of 0.8

Are RESTful APIs implemented in version 0.7?

Re: Is it possible to get a user's previous activities posted from app?

This is probably an Orkut specific question so you should use this site:
http://code.google.com/p/opensocial-resources/ to help you find the most
appropriate forum.

For the OpenSocial apis in general we do allow you to fetch old activities
through the js, and in the restful apis we allow you to delete/edit them if
the container allows it. (The delete/edit stuff isn't exposed in the js apis
atm). All of this may or may not be supported in Orkut or any other
container though - that is up to them.

I hope that helps.
