Newgroups alerts?

Hi

is it possible to have James notify users when there are postings to a given
newsgroup?

Regards

Martin

Martin,

Not yet, unless you want to make changes to the James code. I am hoping
that there will be some people interested in working on the NNTP server.
One of the things I would like is for the ad hoc NNTP spooler to be replaced
by a spool manager and pipeline, like we have for SMTP. With that, you
could add a matcher/mailet to generate notifications, or perform other
tasks.
