My initial configure command was:  ./configure --enable-layout=RedHat and my 
system hard locked when attempting to compile the alias module.  When entering 
the following:  ./configure --enable-layout=RedHat --disable-alias the compile 
works successfully.  Obviously I would need the alias module, but it will not 
compile on my system.
