authenticate

Currently I have svn setup with the apache server and 
with an authentication file (per directory authentication)

Now, as I am on a LAN, I would like to use the windows domain authentication,
which I know is possible (I've read it in the tortoiseSVN doc.)
My trouble is that I also have users outside of the company...

can I give access to these users using the old authenication amd use the windows domain authentication for
users within the firm?
