+ * The REGEXP_EXTRACT transform function takes maximum 4 arguments:
+ * {@code REGEXP_EXTRACT(`value`, `regexp`[, `pos`, `occurrence`])}
+ * <ul>
+ *   <li>value: a string used to match the regular expression.</li>
+ *   <li>regex: the regular expression.</li>
+ * <li>pos: the beginning position for regex match (starts with index 1).</li>
+ *   <li>occurrence: the `occurrence`-th regex match to return.</li>
+ * </ul>
+ * Returns the substring in `value` that matches the `regexp`.
+ * <p>Returns NULL if there is no match.
+ * <p>If `pos` is specified, the search starts at this `pos` character in `value`,
+ * otherwise it starts at the beginning. `pos` starts with index 1 and cannot be 0.
+ * If `pos` is greater than the length of `value`, NULL is returned.
+ * <p>If `occurrence` is specified, the search returns a specific occurrence of
+ * the regexp in `value`, otherwise it returns the first match.

Review comment:
       > Should we consider following the presto semantic of regexp_extract: https://prestodb.io/docs/current/functions/regexp.html
   > Seems databricks is also using this semantic: https://docs.databricks.com/sql/language-manual/functions/regexp_extract.html

   if i understand correctly this only means removing support for position right? (e.g. move occurrence to 3rd argument)
