Http Proxy and SSL mods for WebdavResource?

Hi, 

Will the next version of Slide (1.1?) have any modifications in HttpClient
or WebdavResource that will allow support for proxy host/port and https. At
the moment there is only one constructor in HttpClient that allows proxy
information, WebdavResource does not use this and there are no getter and
setter methods for proxy host/port or https (although this is available in
HttpClient 2.0). What is the best way to move forward to provide this
functionality in the slide client? (WebdavResource does not have a way of
providing this information at the moment).  Is there likely to be this
support in the Slide 1.x lifetime or will this only be built into a future
version (2.x) of slide ?
