SVN repository not accessible
Currently I am not able to access the SVN repository
http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/core/ and web ui at
http://svn.apache.org/viewcvs.cgi/hadoop/core/.
Is there any issue with the SVN repository?

and, as you've noted on infrastructure@ , it is now read/write
As Lamport famously said, “You know you have a distributed system when
the crash of a computer you’ve never heard of stops you from getting any
work done.”

Hi folks,
svn.apache.org is back in service, so commits should work again.
Cheers,
Norman

It's just back to normal in read-only mode.

As mentioned earlier on http://twitter.com/infrabot ...
This morning eris, the machine that hosts
svn.apache.org, lost a disk in its raidz2
array. Svn service will be slower as a result,
and once the replacement disk is in expect
even further delays.
Hopefully we will be back to normal service
within 24 hours.

and one more update: SVN is live but read-only. I haven't looked at
eu.svn.apache.org which is the EU mirror that relays all svn commits to
svn.apache.org, but provides a mirror for read access to the repo. Given
the central SPOF is down, I'd be surprised if you could commit via it either

Hi folks,
svn.apache.org is up again (read-only). Enabling commit access will
take some more time (no new timeframe yet).
Thx for your patience.
Bye,
Norman
