I'd very much like some assurance that due diligence has happened on the dependencies needed for the native client before it's merged into trunk. I don't want to end up in a place where 6 months or a year down the road we try to ship convenience binaries and suddenly discover a Cat-X dependency. The form of that assurance that makes me the least nervous is something like the aggragate LICENSE/NOTICE for dependencies that we'd need if we shipped a statically linked library.{quote}
