[users@httpd] apr_proc_mutex_lock failed

Hi Guys,
I have tried everything I can (google, search the mail list archive,
etc.), but I still could not find an exact answer.

The problem I am facing is:
[Wed Nov 15 08:52:55 2006] [emerg] (36)Identifier removed:
apr_proc_mutex_lock failed. Attempting to shutdown process gracefully.
[Wed Nov 15 08:57:45 2006] [emerg] (22)Invalid argument:
apr_proc_mutex_unlock failed. Attempting to shutdown process gracefully.
[Wed Nov 15 08:57:46 2006] [emerg] (22)Invalid argument:
apr_proc_mutex_lock failed. Attempting to shutdown process gracefully.
[Wed Nov 15 08:57:47 2006] [emerg] (22)Invalid argument:
apr_proc_mutex_lock failed. Attempting to shutdown process gracefully.

It happens quite intermittenly, so I really could not define a pattern
here.

I am installing the gdb to find out more (still waiting for installation
permission), so please tell me what to look for if you need anything
from the core dump file.

Best Regards,

Is that happening when you try to shutdown/restart, or at random?

And to make a useful report, you'd need to tell us what version,
modules, and MPM you're using.
