[jira] [Created] (AMQ-3252) Active MQ admin + Moving All Messages
in a queue to another queue at once
Active MQ admin + Moving All Messages in a queue to another queue at once
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: AMQ-3252
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/AMQ-3252
Project: ActiveMQ
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: Broker
Affects Versions: 5.4.2
Environment: Any
Reporter: Nageswara P Nakarikanti
Fix For: 5.5.0
Currently we have an option for moving A message to another queue / topic.
How about having a new page directed from queues.jsp to Move all messages in a queue to another queue
Input: From Queue, To Queue, No.of messages to move.
Output: Messages Successfully moved to <destination queue name>.
I already modified to have this in my ActiveMQ deployment (5.2.0). But I do not know how to submit this to apache.
Thank You,
Nageswara P Nakarikanti.

Timothy Bish commented on AMQ-3252:
-----------------------------------
To submit this to Apache you need to create a patch file based off of trunk that contains the changes you've made and then ensure that you check the option to grant license to Apache.
