PatternLayout to LogFilePatternReceiver.logFormat conversion

Did anyone write a general conversion function that he/she wants to share?

A function that converts strings like:
%d %-5p [%t] %C{2} (%F:%L) - %m%n
To:
TIMESTAMP LEVEL [THREAD] CLASS (FILE:LINE) - MESSAGE
