Gadget Window - Extends Abnormally

Dear All,

Relating to the Google maps gadget shown here
http://www.google.com/ig/directory?gadgets
<http://www.google.com/ig/directory?gadgets&url=www.gstatic.com/ig/modules/m
apsearch/localsearch_v2.xml>
&url=www.gstatic.com/ig/modules/mapsearch/localsearch_v2.xml I've made a
copy under a Shindig rendered page for testing purposes, shown here:-

http://beta.blueg.com/test/personal.htm see centrally positioned gadget
named "Google Maps (modified)"

However, there are 2 issues present in the gadget when rendered using Java
Shindig.

a) Under Internet Explorer 7 or 8, click inside the "Search on map" text box
and hit <return>. The bottom of the gadget window extends down massively for
no apparent reason. You can also see this effect in the video
http://download.globalcad.com/Map_Search_Expand_Issue.mp4

b) Click on the gadget title bar's settings button to display the UserPrefs
pane - changing the default location value does not update the gadget
content. Perhaps the test page is not configured properly so when you update
location the gadget cannot retrieve it from Shindig and falls back to
default settings?

Any help will be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Darren

I have not seen either of these issues before. The certainly could be
issues with the gadget itself. Do preferences with other gadgets work
fine?
