Catching slow shards

Hello,

Does Solr have any hooks that allow one to watch out for any slaves not responding to a query request in the context of distributed search? That is, if a query is sent to shards A, B, and C, and if B doesn't actually respond (within N milliseconds), I'd like to know about it, and I'm wondering what the best way to get to this information is.

Thanks,
Otis
