[jira] [Created] (LOG4J2-499) LogEvent classes don't override equals() and hashCode()

Matt Sicker created LOG4J2-499:
----------------------------------

Summary: LogEvent classes don't override equals() and hashCode()
                 Key: LOG4J2-499
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4J2-499
             Project: Log4j 2
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: API, Core
    Affects Versions: 2.0-rc1
            Reporter: Matt Sicker
            Priority: Minor

Despite being serialisable, LogEvent implementations don't override .equals() and .hashCode(). This would be rather useful for verifying serialisation behaviour in, for instance, LogEventTest.
