[jira] [Created] (OAK-9098) Write a perf test class in oak-search elastic module

Nitin Gupta created OAK-9098:
--------------------------------

Summary: Write a perf test class in oak-search elastic module
                 Key: OAK-9098
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-9098
             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
          Issue Type: Task
            Reporter: Nitin Gupta

Write a perf test class in oak-search elastic module that can be used to create custom data and give some quick numbers on query execution times.

Though the benchmarks are helpful in getting performance data for specific use cases , it's difficult to manipulate the test data there while analyzing issues and during the development phase. It might be helpful to write a perf test class (that is disabled by default) and used perf loggers whose test data can be easily manipulated an can give some quick local results.
