Closing Incubator Depot Incubation

I write to inform the Incubator that the development of the Incubator
Depot project has stopped. The original committers have no more time to
work on it and the project has failed to attract additional developers.

Therefore, I propose that the incubation is halted and considered 'failed'.

Objections?
Comments?

Any courage anyone to copy the code and continue development somewhere
else with any ASF compatible license. Don' ask just do it. Post a note
on the general@incubator.apache.org list they want.

On a personal note. I will move to Krysalis the minimum amount of code
needed to support version stamp ant task.

Nobody objected, nor here, nor on the dev mailing list.

We would like to having mailing lists shut down and repository access
removed. Note that we would still like to have the repository available
read-only in svn and the mailing lists still present and archived (only
without being able to post).

I have not done any formal [VOTE] for this, but there is evident consensus.

Here is the last project STATUS:

"
1). Is the STATUS file up to date?
Yes.

2). Any legal, cross-project or personal issues that still need to be
     addressed?
No.

3). What has been done for incubation since the last report?
Project closed for lack of development.

4). Plans and expectations for the next period?
Collaborate with Ant and Maven for artifact downloading.
Hang out on the repository@apache.org.
Eventually continue development on Sourceforge.

5). Any recommendations for how incubation could run more smoothly for you?
The closing of the project is not due to problems/issues with Incubation.
"

How should I proceed from here? (no guidelines for this yet)

Nicola,

Would you please update the STATUS and site to refect this information?
Should we shutdown the mailing lists and remove commit rights to the source?
