[Issue 125806] New: Table row background color doesn't get saved to doc format

https://issues.apache.org/ooo/show_bug.cgi?id=125806

          Issue ID: 125806
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: Table row background color doesn't get saved to doc
                    format
           Product: Writer
           Version: 4.1.1
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P3
         Component: save-export
          Assignee: issues@openoffice.apache.org
          Reporter: niels.maschmeyer@gmail.com

Created attachment 84122
  --> https://issues.apache.org/ooo/attachment.cgi?id=84122&action=edit
Includes two files. An odt original and an generated doc file

This is NOT a duplicate from entry 124904 which I just checked.
I generate odt files based on the odt definition 1.2
In those documents I create tables and table rows with different background
colors. This is perfectly opened, displayed and also exported to pdf but when I
try to save it in word format, it looks like the background color information
is lost.

In the odt definition you can define in <style:table-row-properties> the
background color with the attribute fo:background-color. This works and is
displayed in your program but that background color info is not passed on to
the word export.

I Attached two files to this entry which include the original generated odt
file and the saved doc file. In the odt file you will see a table below with
the original definition and an manually inserted table above to compare with.
The word document is the result of the odt file being saved as doc.

It looks like OpenOffice documents, when saved in word format, only exports
'table cell background color information' but not 'table row background color
information'!.

I believe the problem is that when you manually create tables with background
information IN OpenOffice, it only uses (internally) the table cell background
information, even when the whole row has a colored background and therefore
forgot to include this in the export to word.

I hope I could express myself understandable enough :-(
