How to suppress excel warnings using POI?

Hi,

I have a requirement to export value "00123" to excel using POI retaining
leading zeros. I know there is a way to do it by exporting as String instead
of number.
However excel file shows a warning ( dog-ear) on the cell saying " Number
stored as text". How to suppress those warnings in exported file using POI
in java program?
In MS Excel we can do that manually from options as shown in attached
screen.

Posted by Mark Beardsley <ma...@tiscali.co.uk>.
You could always use a custom number format -
http://support.microsoft.com/KB/81518 - this would allow you to show leading
zeros and, if the requirement changes, still use the value in formulae.
