Objectdata/Profile data type

I am trying to create tables in DB2 and was wondering about the length of
Objectdata and profile fields. I am defining them as CLOBs. I have never
used CLOBs or BLOBs before. I found in some
posting(http://stumod.com/jetspeed/) that he has used
CLOB(16777215). I am on v1.4b4. Is that what I need to use??. Also, the same
posting says: though we define binary data fields in most of the tables, all
of them are not used.
What is the affect if I do not define them on tables like:
TURBINE_PERMISSION, TURBINE_GROUP, and TURBINE_ROLE. Any information would
be greately appreciated.

Thanks,
Prashanth
