XSLTC problem with docbook (ver 1.60.1)

Summary: XSLTC problem with docbook (ver 1.60.1)
           Product: XalanJ2
           Version: CurrentCVS
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: org.apache.xalan.xsltc
        AssignedTo: xalan-dev@xml.apache.org
        ReportedBy: mkwan@ca.ibm.com

XSLTC cannot transform docbook (http://docbook.sourceforge.net/) version 1.60.1
when the input xml is test/book.xml and the stylesheet is html/docbook.xsl.

The current XSLTC based on DTM throws an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException on this
testcase. There is no exception with the old XSLTC_DOMImpl, but the generated
output is incorrect.

The problem seems to be in the compiler code. I will attach a reduced testcase
for the problem.
