More detail about how ADC, Git, Cartridge work together?

Hi dev.
As I know:

   1. Apache Stratos requires Cartridges to deploy Applications and I can
   create custom Create Cartridge to deploy custom my Application.
   2. Stratos (ADC) will get application from Git repo server and deploy
   application to instance.

 When I check script in tools/ folder for create Tomcat cartridge, there
are three files:

   1. stratos-init.sh
   2. get-launch-params.rb
   3. healthcheck.sh

I check stratos-init.sh, I can see some code block to clone application
from Git repo, but I can't find any code to deploy application to Tomcat.
So, could you explain me more detail about this?
I want to create WSO2 Application Server Cartridge.
