[jira] [Resolved] (IMPALA-6633) Warn during startup when running on kernel version that triggers IMPALA-6351

Lars Volker resolved IMPALA-6633.
---------------------------------
       Resolution: Won't Fix
    Fix Version/s: Not Applicable

After more consideration I think this should be caught by whatever management solution one uses to manage their servers, as it will likely also affect other software on the system. It seems suboptimal to rely on Impala to warn about this.

> We should detect kernel versions that trigger IMPALA-6351 and issue a warning during startup. We could even consider aborting with an error.
