Another teeny thing that CVS does that SVN doesn't

I just discovered, entirely by accident:

 > cvs version
Client: Concurrent Versions System (CVS) 1.11.1p1 (client/server)
Server: Concurrent Versions System (scast-vc) (CVS) 1.11.1p1
(client/server)

Way more usable that the "cvs --version" output, oh and by the way it
connects to the server of your choice and tells you what version *that*
is. Reporting server version along with client version is a *very*
handy thing. Gee, I wish SVN did that....

Aw, what the heck, I'll throw in my $0.03 as well.

If you compile with --enable-maintainer-mode, svn --version should report
the subversion rXXXX number that it was built with, not just the X.YY.Z
version number. :)
