Global properties

Hi,

I have been searching high and low for some way to define global properties, 
which are shared by multiple sub-projects.

Does it exist?

If not, would it be conceivable to introduce a 'import', 'include' or 'extend' 
feature in .props files. 

Here at Avalon would could benefit tremendously not having to repeat some 
information (that changes occassionally) in dozens of places.
