[jira] Created: (SCM-534) expose getSettingsFile

expose getSettingsFile
----------------------

                 Key: SCM-534
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/SCM-534
             Project: Maven SCM
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: maven-scm-provider-cvs, maven-scm-provider-git, maven-scm-provider-starteam, maven-scm-provider-svn, maven-scm-provider-vss
    Affects Versions: 1.3
            Reporter: Robert Scholte
         Attachments: scm-getSettingsFile.patch

I would be great if I could get the location of any scm-settingsFile without reflection for the directory and without the name of the file in my own code.
Patch has two remarks:
- This patch also includes the patch for SCM-528, otherwise I couldn't fix it all at once.
- It seems like the clearcase settings can exist in both a global and user directory, unlike the others (while most of them just look the same). What are the thoughts on this one? Will they all have two locations or will this clearcase issue be reverted or will it stay just like this? Anyhow, I had to ignore clearcase with this patch
