According to [these benchmarks|https://github.com/osiegmar/JavaCsvBenchmarkSuite], FastCSV is much faster than Apache Commons CSV and Jackson CSV with a small footprint. This Jira proposes to add an implementation of FastCSV as a parser for CSVReader. Attention must be paid to which features are available from FastCSV, any unusual or unsupported behaviors should be well documented to avoid confusion for the user.
