heap size

Friends, 

1) How to increase heap size? 

[Can be done by defining ANT_OPTS=-Xmx640m] is this correct? 

2) How to pass Memory Parameter to ANT? I have tried 

	c:\ant ANT_OPTS=-Xmx640m
	and 
	c:\ant -DANT_OPTS=-Xmx640m

	but no luck:(
