newbie to log4j

hi,

I would like to incorporate a loging library in my project.
it seems that log4j is the best one.
however I found another loging toolkit LogKit on the apache site
and was wondering how come apache was endorsing both? and
more importantly which one should I use since they both seem very similar
to one another.

thanks,

This has been discussed on this list recently.

Look up the archives:

and search for "logkit".

There are no new points to be raised here.

Cheers,
Scott
