Less no of samples...

I am running a performance script on jakarta-jmeter-2.3RC3 for 100 loops/50
users.
I have 9 pages in my script.
Jmeter test execution finishes successfully always, but there are less
number of samples sampled by Jmeter onto my pages.
e.g. JMeter sample 4307 samples on my very first page (it should be 5000).
It has been observerd many times whenever I execute a 5000 script. (50
users* 100 loops)
Jmeter.log has log showing all 50 threads have started but does not show the
completion of few (mostly 7 threads).

Please respond.

1. I am running JMtere on linux server (its same JMeter which I use of
windows), it send request to my apache which distributes my request on 2
clustered tomcat servers.

2. It has been seen that server logs(catalina) stop floating, but JMtere
dosent tide up its run, even for a long time some times. It ends after a
long time.

You should probably upgrade to 2.3 or 2.3.1.

Are you running GUI, non-GUI or client-server?

In that case JMeter is probably waiting for those threads to complete.
